Special Lecture on “Bangladesh Delta Plan 2100: Geologic, Geographic and Environmental Context”

Department of Geography and Environment, University of Dhaka organized a special lecture on “Bangladesh Delta Plan 2100: Geologic, Geographic and Environmental Context” which was presented by Professor Md. Khalequzzaman.

Chairperson of the department Professor Dr. Hafiza Khatun was  in Chair of the session.  In that session faculties of the department Professor Dr. A. Q. M. Mahbub,  Dr. Rejuan Hossain Bhuiyan,   Dr. Naznin Afrose HuqNasreen Rafiq and Dr. Md. Shahidul Islam, Assistant professor Md. Faruk Hossain and Dr. Fatima Akter and Cartographer Md. Amran Hossan were present. Faculties and students from other departments and universities were participated in the lecture also.

Professor Md. Khalequzzaman focused on Bangladesh Delta Plan 2100 and it’s merits and demerits. He also discussed the gaps of the plan where geoscientists can play important role for sustainable development of the country.
